Kings XI Punjab Won By 15 Runs with Gayle hitting a century.

Kings XI Punjab winning streak continues as they beat the mighty Sunrisers Hyderabad on their home turf Mohali.Batting first Punjab started the inning on a good note with Chris Gayle and KL Rahul opening the proceeding for the Kings XI Punjab. With Sunrisers who haven’t lost a single game in the tournament yet Kings XI Punjab had to be quite competitive in order to earn the win in this match against Hyderabad.

Gayle was looking in great touch with the bat and likely so the Gayle storm was about to blow the Mohali crowd with his blistering 103 runs.Initially started his inning at a good pace and later with the time showed his power with the bat hitting some blistering sixes around the park.Chris Gayle hit four sixes back to back on Rashid Khan bowling almost making the opposition on their knees. This made Punjab to reach a huge total of 193/3 in 20 overs.

In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad did not start the inning too well as the man in form for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Shikhar Dhawan got retired hurt on his very first bowl.Saha too couldn’t showcase his skills with the bat this time around as he fell cheaply as well. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Manish Pandey and captain Kane Williamson half-centuries but not at the strike rate as their team would have liked. Both the batsmen were unable to hit boundaries at regular interval and the required run rate kept on piling. In the end, Kings XI Punjab won the match with 15 runs.
